Now everyone said I would love Italy, “it’s just your type of place!” but I didn’t realise just how much… In just a 4 day trip it turned into my favourite place I’ve EVER visited.
It’s obvious I am a love of colour but this isn’t limited to my paint brush. I love what our girl Mother Nature paints and my gosh she worked overtime on the Amalfi Coast.
Photo: The cutest cove beach we found in Cetara.
Staying in Salerno about an hour bus ride from Amalfi, I didn’t feel like I was lost in a busy flow of tourists and I miss the waves and ciaos coming from the locals making me feel like I belonged in place so different from home. From boat rides, endless gelato, the food (dribble), beautiful beaches to the fashion, it really is as good as the photos look. Probably even better.

Photo: Aperol Spritz - tastes better in the Italian sunshine.
One thing I ticked off my list in Italy was riding on the back of a moped (something I would never do in London) I was wearing a summer dress and sandals rocking the helmet and wondering who this spontaneous girl is?

MY AMALFI BUCKET LIST
I didn’t have time to explore everything I wanted to see in such a little time so I’ve created a bucket list of places I’m determined to go back too!
COMPLETE THE WALK OF THE GODS
Not everyone’s up for exercise on holiday but when beautiful views are involved you can’t really say no! The walk of the Gods is a 7.8km route beginning in Bomerano and ending in Nocelle with the best views over the coast.
INDULGE AND DINE AT RISTORANTE TORRE NORMANNA
I saw this beautiful restaurant from cliff side on my walk around Maiori but didn’t get the opportunity to eat there. Just imagine sitting there for dinner as the sun sets over the sea... HEAVEN.

GET LOST IN POSITANO
Known as one of the Amalfi coast's most expensive and photogenic towns, I plan to get lost exploring with my camera.
STROLL AROUND VILLA CIMBRONE
A beautiful historic building/one of the most prestigious hotels in the entire mediterranean and home to the Terrazzo dell'lnfinito, the Terrace of Infinity. Need I explain more...
Hopefully i’ll be able to tick these off and blog about my new adventures..
Lots of love and pizza and pasta,
